Dijon Vinaigrette Dressing
A tangy, flavorful vinaigrette that pairs perfectly with greens, grilled meats, or pasta salads.
Ingredients
- 1 packet Crazy Tony’s Dressing mix
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
- ⅛ cup Dijon mustard
- 1 cup salad oil (such as canola, vegetable, or light olive oil)
Instructions
1. Blend the Base:
In a blender, combine:
- 1 packet Crazy Tony’s Dressing mix
- 2 tablespoons hot water
Blend briefly to dissolve the spices.
2. Add Flavor:
- ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
- ⅛ cup Dijon mustard
Blend until combined.
3. Emulsify the Oil:
While the blender is running on low, slowly pour in:
- 1 cup salad oil
Continue blending until the dressing is smooth and fully emulsified.
4. Chill:
Transfer to a container with a lid and refrigerate until ready to use.
