This Savory Italian Meatloaf recipe is simple yet enticing. It's a flavorful twist on the classic dish, infused with Crazy Tony's unique taste of Italian herbs!
Meatloaf Recipe:
- 1 lb Lean Ground Chuck
- 2 tsp Crazy Tony’s Spice
- 3 oz Tomato Sauce
- 3 Tbsp Diced Onion
- 1 Large Egg
- 1/4 Cup Breadcrumbs
Sauce:
- 5 oz Tomato Sauce
- 1 tsp Crazy Tony's Spice
Prep:
- 1 large bowl for meatloaf recipe
- 1 small bowl for meatloaf sauce
- 9x5-inch loaf pan (recommended) helps the meatloaf hold its shape and cook evenly
- Pre-heat the oven to 400°
Directions:
- Mix all of the meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl, thoroughly, and form it into a loaf on your loaf pan (recommended) or pan of your choice.
- Place the loaf in your 400° pre-heated oven and cook for 30 minutes.
- While your meatloaf is cooking, mix your sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
- Once your meatloaf is done, take it out of the oven and let it sit for 1 minute.
- Add the sauce to the top of the meatloaf, spreading it to cover the entire loaf evenly.
- Place the loaf with the added sauce back into the oven for 5 minutes.
- Remove it from the oven and let it rest for another 5 minutes.
- Slice the loaf in 1-2 inch slices and serve with your favorite sides!
