Savory Italian Meatloaf

This Savory Italian Meatloaf recipe is simple yet enticing. It's a flavorful twist on the classic dish, infused with Crazy Tony's unique taste of Italian herbs!  

 

Meatloaf Recipe: 

  • 1 lb Lean Ground Chuck
  • 2 tsp Crazy Tony’s Spice
  • 3 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Diced Onion
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/4 Cup Breadcrumbs

Sauce: 

  • 5 oz Tomato Sauce 
  • 1 tsp Crazy Tony's Spice

Prep:

  • 1 large bowl for meatloaf recipe
  • 1 small bowl for meatloaf sauce
  • 9x5-inch loaf pan (recommended) helps the meatloaf hold its shape and cook evenly
  • Pre-heat the oven to 400°

Directions:

  1. Mix all of the meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl, thoroughly, and form it into a loaf on your loaf pan (recommended) or pan of your choice.
  2. Place the loaf in your 400° pre-heated oven and cook for 30 minutes.
  3. While your meatloaf is cooking, mix your sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  4. Once your meatloaf is done, take it out of the oven and let it sit for 1 minute.
  5. Add the sauce to the top of the meatloaf, spreading it to cover the entire loaf evenly.
  6.  Place the loaf with the added sauce back into the oven for 5 minutes.
  7.  Remove it from the oven and let it rest for another 5 minutes.
  8.  Slice the loaf in 1-2 inch slices and serve with your favorite sides!
